Limited Edition Hand Signed Prints

My Name is Michael Koetsier. I started this project with my father, Albert Koetsier. He was the artist who created the iconic hand-tinted X-rayographs, such as the popular Cala Two, which you see here. For over 20 years, my father had only produced original X-ray images and sold these directly to collectors and enthusiasts. Those originals are now rather rare.

In 2018, my father began licensing his art to several respected printing companies to produce prints. Unfortunately, many of these prints were eventually copied by unlicensed companies abroad and mass-produced in lower quality. Often, they were also photoshopped and digitally colorized.

To address this issue, my father and I decided to distribute our own licensed prints on this website. They differ from what is available elsewhere because they are:

• From one of our licensed printers

• Hand-signed by the artist, Albert, himself

• Hand-numbered by the artist

• Available in very limited editions

• and they include an additional unique serial number as well as a letter of authenticity

There are only a small number of prints that my father had selected to be sold this way. As such, we have only the subjects and sizing options available here. They will be shipped in a mailing tube so that framing/matting can be done at your convenience. We feel that this is the best way to continue to provide unique and enjoyable art prints to our customers, our fans, and art collectors.
